Bancroft Elementary School

This renovation of an existing elementary school increased capacity to support 550 students in a modern 146,000 sf sustainable facility. The project integrates historic sections of the old school -- constructed with five building over 40 years, with extensive new construction.

Georgetown Prep Campus Center and Residence Hall

North Bethesda, MD

Cox Graae + Spack Architects

The project includes 70 dorm rooms and 128 beds along with nearly 15,000 square feet of faculty and staff apartments and accommodations, an assembly hall, an enlarged infirmary, and lounge and living areas. Specifications for the new, multi-sport adjacent stadium were also incorporated into the project scope.

Marie Reed Community Learning Center

Washington, DC

Quinn Evans Architects

An existing fifty year-old building that housed multiple programs was renovated and reconfigured to provide an updated 162,000 sf facility for community use. The center serves 450 students from pre-K to the 5th grade and provides a swimming pool, health clinic, a day care center and other amenities to supports various community programs.

Benjamin Banneker Academic High School

Washington, DC

Perkins Eastman DC

A full modernization project that relocated an existing high school to a new 190,000 sf facility designed to accommodate 800 students by school year 2025. Architectural finishes include a panelized rainscreen facade, perforated panels, and solar panels. The project is LEED-Gold and Net Zero Energy ready.

Jefferson Academy Middle School

Washington, DC

STUDIOS Architects

A modernization of an existing 1939-era middle school to support the current learning needs of 540 students from grade 6 through 8. The LEED Gold rated, 115,000 sf project include demolition, hazmat abatement and renovation of core spaces and building systems.

Neelsville Middle School Replacement

Germantown, MD

Perkins Eastman DC

This project for an International Baccalaureate school provides a new 3-story, 156,000 sf replacement facility for an existing elementary school, provides a barrier-free facility to support 1000 students. The school is designed with a contextual and natural presence on the site and easy access to outdoor spaces.
