Pittsburg Post Office and Courthouse

The 1934 U.S. Post Office and Courthouse occupies a full city block in the Pittsburgh federal district. SBA was selected through the GSA's Design Excellence program to completely modernize and expand the historic structure to accommodate state-of-the-art U.S. Courts, U.S. Postal Service, and federal office use. The 820,000 sf project includes glazed infill additions within the existing light courts, housing new daylit courtrooms and courtsets.  Additional Modifications:  Ongoing modifications include:  North Plaza Reconstruction, Door Replacement, Corridor and Toilet Upgrades, North Lobby Renovation, and Tapestry Protection.
